Bonding Agent – Submerged Areas
A liquid bonding agent designed to bond existing concrete with new concrete in dry, wet, and submerged areas while improving mortar strength and flexibility.
Product Advantages:
- Water resistant and suitable for submerged areas
- Strengthens the bond between existing and new concrete
- Acts as a primer to seal porous substrate surfaces
- Improves mortar flexibility, crack resistance, and abrasion resistance
Packaging: 1 liter & 10 liters
- Interior & exterior
- Dry, wet & submerged areas
- Floors & walls
- Follow the specified mixing ratio for optimal results.
- Store the product in a dry place and avoid direct sunlight.
- As a Concrete Bonding Agent
Mix AM 70, water, and cement in a ratio of 1 : 1 : 2.5, then stir thoroughly until uniform. Apply the mixture to the existing concrete surface using a brush. While the bonding layer is still wet, immediately apply the new concrete.
- As a Primer
Mix AM 70 and cement in a ratio of 1 : 1, then stir thoroughly until uniform. Apply the mixture to the surface using a brush. While the primer is still wet, immediately proceed with screeding / plastering.
- As a Mortar Strengthener
Add a mixture of AM 70 and water in a ratio of 1 : 3 to the cement-sand mortar mixture until the desired consistency is achieved. The mortar is then ready for application.
- For Crack Repair
Chip the cracked surface to form a V-shaped groove. Clean the surface to remove dust, then apply a mixture of AM 70 Primer. While the primer is still wet, immediately fill the groove using the AM 70 Mortar Strengthener mixture.
